01 / PLANNING
Count buildings and occupied spaces
For cabins around Asheville, Hendersonville or the mountain towns, list each structure and the maximum expected occupancy. Describe porches or common areas that need coverage. One main-house router is not a reliable assumption for several separate cabins.
02 / PLANNING
Separate guests from property operations
Ask the network owner to define guest access independently from management devices, locks or cameras. Decide who changes credentials between stays and how staff diagnose a local Wi-Fi problem. Starlink availability and the capacity of the local wireless network are different constraints.
03 / PLANNING
Write an honest guest-facing promise
Avoid advertising a guaranteed speed before measuring the installed setup. Agree on checks inside representative rooms and on how to explain service limitations to guests. For multiple occupied buildings, ask RNP to break out the main terminal, distribution links and per-building equipment in the proposal.
