01 / PLANNING

Choose a pilot before a batch

A maintenance van, pickup and enclosed trailer have different roof materials and interior cable paths. Start with one representative vehicle. Record the vehicle year, roof equipment, clearance limits and the exact places where the crew needs internet. Use the result to refine the remaining units.

02 / PLANNING

Separate parked work from in-motion use

A crew completing reports at a job site has a different requirement from a connected vehicle in transit. Specify which is needed. Hardware suitability, mounting approvals and current Starlink service terms must all be checked; owning a Mini alone does not establish permission for every use.

03 / PLANNING

Make the handover usable by dispatch

The deployment record should identify which kit belongs to which vehicle, who owns the account and how to isolate power when the vehicle is parked. Ask for a simple operator card and an agreed process for taking a unit out of service.
