01 / PLANNING

Describe year-round access

A seasonal home and a full-time residence may need different equipment access arrangements. Explain how the property is reached, who can meet the installer and whether equipment must be checked while the owner is away. Include any known roof or maintenance restrictions.

02 / PLANNING

Check the local approval path

Mounting conditions and permit requirements depend on the actual jurisdiction and proposed work. Deschutes County provides building resources for its area; properties in cities or other counties may follow a different process. RNP identifies the approval question during assessment rather than promising a blanket exemption.

03 / PLANNING

Locate the router for occupied rooms

A convenient exterior wall is not always the best center for indoor coverage. Mark bedrooms, home office spaces and separate guest areas that matter. If the quote includes additional access points, request their locations and the agreed checks as part of the scope.
