01 / PLANNING

Draw the property in terms of endpoints

For a property near Sisters, Redmond or Prineville, list the home, office, workshop and other occupied buildings. Approximate distances, visible obstructions and existing conduit matter more than a promise to “cover the acreage.” Mark where people actually need to use devices.

02 / PLANNING

Compare the distribution options

An existing cable route, a suitable wireless bridge or separate equipment can each be appropriate. The review should consider power at both ends, physical protection and the ability to maintain the link. A building-to-building connection still needs indoor Wi-Fi at its destination.

03 / PLANNING

Scope outside work explicitly

If new cable, trenching, electrical service or a structural mount is required, the proposal should identify the work and approval dependencies. Coordinate with the relevant property authority and trades before disturbing ground or modifying a building.
