01 / PLANNING

Compare the same scope

A quote for mounting an existing terminal is different from a package containing a new kit, router integration and Wi-Fi in a second building. Ask each provider to identify exclusions, travel, equipment ownership, any required approvals and applicable taxes. Ongoing Starlink service is a separate cost unless the proposal explicitly says otherwise.

02 / PLANNING

Check included professional installation first

Starlink’s offers and installation availability vary by address and can change. Review your order and the current standard-installation scope before paying for overlapping work. An independent provider may be useful for a requirement outside that scope, but the difference should be specific.

03 / PLANNING

Make changes reviewable

Ask how unexpected roof conditions, a longer cable path or additional access equipment will be handled. A written change approval is more useful than a low initial figure that leaves the completion cost unclear. Do not accept a performance promise that has no defined test.
